Dr. Levy first came to New Orleans from New York to complete his undergraduate studies in Mathematical Economics at Tulane University and then went on to obtain his medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine and a residency in Neurology at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He moved back to Louisiana to pursue a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at the Louisiana State University Health Science Center of New Orleans. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Neurology and board eligible in Clinical Neurophysiology. He is excited to stay in Louisiana to use his advanced training to care for patients with the full spectrum of neuromuscular and seizure disorders in the clinic, the hospital, and the EEG and EMG laboratories – from diagnosis to treatment and management. He has particular interests in caring for patients with neuropathy, myasthenia gravis, ALS, and both focal and generalized epilepsy.

Dr. Levy is also glad to return to his alma mater, where he is able to teach and mentor the next generations of medical students and residents, all while taking in the unique sounds and tastes found only in New Orleans.
